Call for Support - 18th Trip to Cameroon

Pavla is preparing for her 18th trip to Cameroon on May 3rd, 2017. She will be in Cameroon for two months. Her goal is to raise at least $12,000 for the trip and $5,000 toward our building project in Tatum. So far, we have $10,186.

We are turning to you, our kind and generous donors, on behalf of the students in Cameroon and asking for your support so we could reach our goal. Your loving care and generous support will be greatly appreciated.

During her trip, the biggest project will be handing over science lab equipment to two rural high schools donated thanks to a grant from VWR Foundation. Pavla also wants to purchase more science lab equipment for several other rural high schools in the NW Region, depending on available funds. Thanks to kind cooperation with CBC in Bamenda, donated laptop computers, portable solar lamps and other useful items are on the way to Cameroon in a sea container. These items will be distributed to schools and students according to their needs. She also plans to meet with parents, teachers and principals from schools we have been working with to discuss their possible assistance with our building project in Tatum. Sooner the Educare-Africa Community Resource Center will be completed, sooner many could benefit from a public library, internet, computer lab, guest rooms, dormitories for students, Educare-Africa office and much more.

Please, do not hesitate to email Pavla at pavlazl@comcast.net or call her at (541) 924-9290 if you have any questions. Checks can be made to Educare-Africa with "Trip 2017" in the memo, P.O. Box 3278, Albany, OR 97321. If you prefer to use a credit card, we have PayPal available on our blog. Just click on the "donate" button.

Thank you very much on behalf of the students in Cameroon for your kind and generous support!

With much love, joy, peace and gratitude,
Fondly,

News:
  • We are very happy and very grateful to VWR Foundation for yet another grant we received recently for science lab equipment for two rural high schools. Equipment will be purchased in January and February and handed over during my annual trip to Cameroon in May and June 2017. All activities will be documented with photographs and video clips and posted on our blog and Facebook pages.
  • Concerning our Community Resource Center project in Tatum: Mr. Kevin, our field coordinator in Cameroon reported that so far 2500 sun dried bricks have been made and more is on the way. In addition, the $10 Club is going to donate thousand dollars toward this project very soon. We are very grateful to them for their continuing kind and generous support.
  • For the first time we are planning a different kind of fundraiser - a silent auction - since we have already quite a few items to offer and more will be donated. It will take place in Corvallis, on February 18th, 2017. We will provide more details at the right time and we hope that many of you will participate so we could assist more students and schools in Cameroon.
Thank you so much on behalf of many students and schools in Cameroon for your continuing kind and generous support and we look forward to hear from you at the right time again.

We wish you richly blessed Holiday Season, Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year 2017, filled with much love, joy, peace, fulfillment, gratitude, abundance and much more.

With much gratitude,
Fondly,
